New Student Registration Appointments

Congratulations on your admission to the University of Sioux Falls! One of the first steps to becoming a USF Cougar is attending a New Student Registration appointment. This one-on-one meeting with your academic advisor will allow you to register for classes and learn more about academic programs.

Advising appointments are offered every fall and spring semester. Please submit your request for advising no later than five days prior to your selected registration day.

USF accepts AP tests for the following subject tests if a student earns a score of 4 or 5.

Registration appointments will be 30-minute, one-on-one, virtual meetings with an academic advisor. Please select the day(s) below that work best for you. An admissions counselor will then follow up with more information about your selected event.

We cannot guarantee your appointment will fall in the morning/afternoon, however we will use your selected preference in scheduling appointments when possible.

If you are a student who requires accommodations due to a disability, contact the Director of Learning Accessibility Services at or call (605) 331-6648 to request accommodations at least two weeks prior to your New Student Registration Day.

A $100 tuition deposit is required to register.
Registration appointments are prioritized for students that have submitted their tuition deposits. If you have not already paid your tuition deposit so we can hold your spot during the session you selected, you can submit your deposit online at or by calling 605-331-6600.
